Project description

This project was brought to us, with hopes of capturing the impact of the CHFVI on local families, both in the North Island and south island. This specific project was to highlight the importance of places such as Jeneece Place, accommodation for families with children in hospital.

It was incredible spending two days in Campbell River with the Millers and learning about their story, and seeing how big of an impact the Foundation had on their family over the last 10 years.

We then spent a full day with the Shanahn’s and learned about their story and loss of their baby Jesse, and how big of an impact the foundation had in those moments.

Both of these families were incredible people to film, and had such powerful stories. We decided to go with a Documentary Style approach to both of them, to make sure we were able to capture the impact of their stories in their fullest form.
